PETA JOINS THE WORLD’S FIRST -EVER VEGAN BRIDAL FAIR IN LOS ANGELES.  And I will be there too! YES! I am flying to the West Coast to participate with the expo. I am eager to support my friend Daniela Degrassi (Founder of the Vegan Wedding Resource Blog – The Kind Bride).

The World’s First Vegan Bridal Fair. 

The LUXE AND KIND BRIDAL BOUTIQUE and Pop Up will take place at the Bel Air Tree House.   The Treehouse showcases itself as a  plant-based biodynamic jewel hotel in the heart of Los Angeles.  Daniela Degrassi, founder of vegan wedding resource blog and online community The Kind Bride and Laura Frecon, founder of eco-luxury lifestyle platform and marketplace Verte Luxe will host the event.

The Growing Need

So, with the growing need for sustainable and plant-based resources, vegan and eco-conscious couples can finally visit a wedding expo tailored to their needs. Consequently, this allows guests to connect with the best wedding professionals of the Los Angeles area and beyond. And, let’s not forget the amazing vegan food and wine tasting that will take place. At the end of the day, it’s all about the food!

The Vendors

The peaceful venue of The Bel Air Tree House will be endowed by local florals by Rose Lane Farms.  And the venue will be set to showcase vegan and sustainably-minded wedding planners like Opus Events.   Further, music entertainment will be provided by vegan DJ Cali Miles of Special Events DJZ.   And, cruelty-free beauty experts, gifting ideas by organic and sustainable SudSource will attend.    Also, the unveiling of two new plant-based wedding gowns by Silviyana Bridal will inspire! CA-based vegan photographers Eve Rox Photography and The Hendrys will share with guests the details of vegan-friendly photography and much more.

Finally, videographer Courtney Roberts of Wild in Lace will capture this event!

A Boutique Experience

Ultimately, this one of a kind event has created a buzz even among East Coast Wedding Professionals!  DC-based Green Wedding photographer Michelle Ray Photography (*AKA Yours Truly!) will be presenting about VEGAN photography. Pittsburgh based Katabanko Couture will showcase her home-grown sustainable hair jewelry. And Wanna Date? is sending in their new oil-free, nut-free date spread jars. The Swag Bags will feature many of the vendors’ gifts!

PETA’s involvement

The event has even got the attention of PETA. PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world. As a result, they happily accepted the invitation of The Luxe and Kind Bridal Boutique team to join the cruelty-free event line up. 

Further, a percentage of the event proceeds will be donated to PETA. And PETA is eager to participate in the event through their Los Angeles representatives. Also, they will engage the crowd with a special presentation dedicated to vegan weddings.

“From silk-free wedding dresses and leather-free shoes to delicious vegan catering and animal-friendly decorations and honeymoon destinations, it’s as easy as saying, ‘I do,’ to show some love for animals when planning a wedding,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA toasts Luxe and Kind Bridal Boutique for helping couples make that wonderful day a compassionate occasion.” 

Finally, on the stage with PETA, the event organizers will also present a helpful Q & A panel. And several presenters will engage the participants with special raffle prizes like an eco-experience around the Yucatan Peninsula by Green Maya Eco Tours. Further, The Pizza Plant will raffle a rehearsal dinner!

Finally, the hosts will conclude the magic day offering a special “Dinner with Press” for media and influencers.  The venue outdoor patio embellished for the occasion by Amethyst Event Productions will be a perfect backdrop.  Did we mention that- you’re invited!
